Jenn Nutley, former manager of the Emergency Department at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, was honored as an Everyday Hero just prior to her departure from her position earlier this week.
Nominated by her ED colleagues Steven Jacobson and Linda (Pippin) Callahan, Nutley was commended for her commitment to her team managers, overwhelmingly positive attitude and dedication to getting the job done in the best way possible. “She is an expert at the crucial conversations and has an uncanny ability to motivate team members — an ability that is so rare and will be sorely missed,” Jacobson and Callahan wrote in the letter that accompanied their gift to UM Chester River Health Foundation in Nutley’s honor.
A host of nurses and other team members from UM SMC at Chestertown attended the Everyday Hero award presentation and good-by luncheon honoring Jenn Nutley.
