On Thursday, June 9, UM Medical Center at Chestertown will be taking part in an emergency infectious disease drill put on by Washington College. The drill will test our ability to handle the event of an infectious disease outbreak.
Beginning late morning and concluding by early afternoon, the drill will be held on Washington College’s campus and in the the medical center at Chestertown. All of the agencies involved would like to ensure that no local residents are alarmed by the proceedings, which may involve enactors using medical equipment or moving “patients” to and from exercise locations.
