All employees on staff in May 2016 must complete open enrollment by the deadline of May 15, 2016. To make any changes to current benefits including electing to continue/enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts, please log into HRConnections to elect your benefits. All new elections will be effective July 1, 2016.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
IF YOU WANT TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT HEALTH OR DENTAL PLAN, you must go online and enroll in one of the other plans. If you are satisfied with your current plan, no action is necessary.
Elect a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). Enrollment in an FSA is required every year.
You won’t be able to enroll in any of these plans after the May 15 deadline – unless you experience a change in family status or other qualifying event.
HOW TO ENROLL
- AT WORK: Click on the HRConnections button from the hospital intranet
AT HOME: Go to www.umms.org/HRConnections - You’ll be prompted to log in. Your username is your employee ID number. If you forgot your ID number, it is on your paycheck. If you forgot your password, you will get a reminder question. For further assistance, call the HRConnections Service Center at 855-486-6747.
- Click on “Click here to enroll” from the home screen in the “Open Enrollment” box to be automatically directed to the Benefits portal. Note: Ensure pop-up blockers are disabled.
- Follow the instructions on the screen and choose your benefit elections or waive coverage.
- Confirm all elections and print your enrollment confirmation. If you are enrolling new dependents, you are required to submit documents to verify that he or she meets the eligibility requirements of the plan. Enrollment is not complete until you have entered elections and you have faxed your dependent documentation to 410-527-5904 or emailed a picture of the documents by smartphone to benefitshotline@kellway.com.
- Newly added dependents require documentation submitted by June 17, 2016

PLEASE NOTE: After you complete your enrollment, you may log back into the site at any time during the open enrollment period to make changes. However, if you do, please make sure to finish the enrollment process all the way to the end by clicking on “Complete Online Enrollment”. Otherwise, you will lose any elections previously made.
