Knitted Blankets and Cradles Donated to UM Shore Regional Health Birthing Center

patients-firstJody Jobeck recently donated 12 small hand-made blankets and hand-knitted cradles to the Birthing Center’s Fetal Loss Program. The items were knitted by Jobeck’s mother, who also donates to the hospitals where she lives in Virginia. Jody’s husband, Christopher Jobeck, is a clinical specialist for UM Shore Regional Health Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services and suggested the idea to donate some to the UM SRH Birthing Center.
“These beautiful blankets and cradles will be so appreciated by families suffering the loss of a fetus, and we are very grateful to Jody and her mom for including our Birthing Center in this thoughtful outreach program,” says Luanne Satchell, BSN, RN, nurse manager of the Birthing Center.
