Two by Two by Two: Twins in the Birthing Center

Three sets of twins – all boys – came into the world at the Birthing Center at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton within three days, Friday, September 22 to Monday, September 25, 2017.
They are (pictured above, left to right) Ryder James Hollingsworth and Drake Daniel Hollingsworth, born Friday just after 3 p.m., shown in the arms of their mother, Erin Hollingsworth, of Denton; Alexander Alan Cheers and Kade William Cheers, born Saturday just after 2 p.m., shown in the arms of their mother, Katelyn Cheers, of Royal Oak; and Camden William Myers and Caleb Alexander Myers, born just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday morning, shown in the arms of nurse Christin Dickey while their mom Heather Myers, of Cambridge, was resting.
According to Luanne Satchell, manager, Women’s and Children’s Health Services, two sets of twins in the Birthing Center  is not unusual, but three may be a first.  And at the time this photo was taken, the Birthing Center team was anticipating a yet fourth set of twins — scheduled for arrival by Cesarean section on Wednesday, September 27.
These tiny twins have already earned a great deal of attention: A post about them on Shore Regional Health Facebook page has been liked and shared by scores of Facebook users –and seen by more than 8,000!
