OUT AND ABOUT: Ask local businesses if they give discounts to Shore Regional Health employees. You may be surprised to hear that the answer is yes! You could even get a discount or some part of the fees waived at local fitness centers. We know of the following:
- Kent Athletic & Wellness Center (KAWC) is offering employees and other staff of Shore Regional Health a 10% discount off of the membership fee and the enrollment fee will be waived! KAWC is located on High Street in Chestertown, behind Dixon Valve. They offer a wide range of fitness options, from social sports, to exercise classes (yoga, Zumba and more), to personal training. The facility includes a full fitness and weight room, aerobic rooms and a full court gymnasium.
