Be Seen in Green for Organ Donation on April 21

Friday, April 21, is “Be Seen in Green” Day to raise awareness for organ donation. Across the country, people are encouraged to wear green to show their support of organ and tissue donation; this includes donor families, recipients, hospital staff and anyone who has been touched by or supports donation.
“Be Seen in Green” is an initiative through the Living Legacy Foundation, which inspires Marylanders to save and enhance lives through organ and tissue donation while honoring donors. On April 21, photographs will be taken of staff who are wearing green at all three UM Shore Medical Centers to be shared with the Living Legacy Foundation.
