Thanks for the uplifting letter of condolence from you and your staff on the passing of my aunt, at UM Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the Quail Point staff for the dedication and exceptional level of care given to my aunt over the past four years or so. I am extremely grateful to your dedicated team who cared for my aunt on a daily basis. The staff made such a difference to her quality of life. No matter who was on duty, regardless of time day or night, I know she received the same high quality of care and for this I am ever thankful. On regular visits, I was able to observe the professionalism and total dedication of each and every member of the team and how well my aunt was treated with love and respect. You were all so very kind to her and to me from beginning to end.
Can’t tell you how grateful I was to receive those kind words and share them with my family. Thank you all so much, you are amazing people who do an amazing job.

At the ED in UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, Helen is everything one could want in a nurse — kind, patient, and compassionate. Dr. Joyce was excellent, both in treatment and in listening to my concerns about a serious spike in blood pressure. Although I was there from about 11:30 on a Sunday evening until 3:30 on Monday morning, he was very relaxed and never made me feel rushed.

Very nice friendly and professional staff at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Easiest registration I’ve had. Dr. Nelson Goldberg is excellent at what he does. I prefer the Chestertown hospital to Easton due to its size and friendliness.

My stay at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton 2 East was longer than expected but I was to understand it was because of testing. All nurses and dr’s. from the Emergency Room to departure were excellent – Rich Ashford & Dr. Mateo stand out. Dr. Lexie was hard to understand with his accent but he was kind enough to repeat things & spell them out. Gloria cleaned the room and warmed my heart. She is a priceless employee!

At the Emergency Department at UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, the nurse tech (I think her name was Jess) who took my blood and labs was very kind and comforting. She did a very good job putting in my IV and throughout the entire experience was helpful and understanding. The radiology tech (I don’t know her name but she said she was PRN staff) that did my x-ray made me feel very comfortable during the test and was so helpful explaining everything each step of the way during the test, I felt she went above and beyond the call of duty with my care. Dr. Drake was extremely kind and understanding, he took a great deal of time to listen to what was going on with me and made me feel at ease during a time when I was in a lot of pain and very uncomfortable.

During my visit to UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown, I complained about the pain caused by the automatic BP machine so the nurse took a manual BP reading, which was much better … The nurse Britnee was very kind and helpful, also Dr. Ciocie took a lot of time explaining things and went an extra step to get me an appointment with my own doctor the next day.
