Tuesday morning, Robbie Donovan and Jazmyne Hopkins from Kent Center Inc., served as UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown’s “greeters” in the main lobby. They welcomed patients and visitors and handed out maroon lapel ribbons.
March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness month and Kent Center, the Kent County provider of daytime, vocational and residential services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, asked that local businesses partner with them in helping build awareness of the abilities of the individuals it serves.
