The February Executive-Leader Rounding schedule included visits to:  EVS, Shore Medical Center at Easton;  UM CMG – Wound Care, Shore Medical Pavilion at Easton; Food Services, Shore Medical Center at Dorchester; Pediatrics and Women’s Services, Shore Medical Center at Easton;  Nursing and EVS, Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation at Chestertown; Lab/Cardiovascular Services, Shore Medical Center at Easton; Shore Rehabilitation at Easton (Outpatient); Employee Health & Wellness/HR, Shore Medical Center at Easton; and Outpatient Chemotherapy, Cancer Center.
Below are some highlights:


During the Rounds, the questions “Who deserves recognition?” and “What do we do well?” generate enthusiastic responses. February responses were as follows:

OP Rehab Melissa has done a great job at making everyone feel comfortable. She puts extra effort in to make the outpatient staff feel a part of the building.
Nursing & Rehab Center Cindy McClain goes out of her way with the LPN to partner with him
Nursing & Rehab Center ALL GNA/CNA were recognized by ALL staff..over and and over again, about how wonderful they are to patients and family.
Nursing & Rehab Center Kaity Smith, praised by staff and patients for her compassion
Nursing & Rehab Center Nina Powell in business office is helpful to staff and patients
Nursing & Rehab Center Barb Follum is loving to family members and helpful to students
Employee Health & Wellness Services They complement each other and trust that each will complete tasks and cover for each other.
HR The team looks out for each other and pitches in to their co-workers.
HR Appreciation for the HEART training was stated by many of the staff.

Cancer Center  Outpatient Chemo Staff are dedicated, very low turnover
Cancer Center  Outpatient Chemo New patient and family orientation and Education/Treatment Plan Book
