About Annual Performance Reviews
Annual Performance Reviews are a key component of employee development.  The performance review is intended to be a fair and balanced assessment of an employee’s performance. We all strive to provide the best patient experience and it starts with well performing and engaged employees.
The performance management process is a partnership between the supervisor and the employee. As part of this partnership, performance evaluations are a necessary and beneficial process which provides an opportunity for supervisors to provide feedback to employees regarding job performance
The new Performance Evaluation Form (found on Policy Manager) reflects the incorporation of HEART. The Performance Evaluation form and UM Shore Regional Health Code of Professional Conduct now align closely with the principles of HEART, as follows:

  • We have replaced the former “Care Commitment” verbiage with a broad statement of belief that lays the foundation for our new values.
  • We have also added an acknowledgement of expected HEART service behaviors for all of our employees, once the mandatory HEART sessions have been completed (by all team members) no later than March 31, 2017.
