"New Year, New You" Free Webinar Series Offered by Walden University



Walden University excited to offer UM Shore Regional Health team members a new and free “thought leadership” program, a Wellness Webinar Series taking place on Thursdays, 1 p.m., throughout February and March.
According to Jean Volz, faculty/coordinator, the Critical Care/Graduate University of Nursing and Patient Care Services, the sessions are led by Walden faculty experts and focus on a wide range of self-improvement topics. They are  are designed to provide  valuable insights that encourage participants’ productivity and professional growth.
The first webinar in the series, Digital Detox, is set for Thursday, February 16 and is presented by Dr. Frederica Hendricks-Noble. The description is as follows:
“If you’ve ever entered a room and witnessed every single person looking at his or her phone, you might feel ready for a digital detox. Setting boundaries around electronic communication is not just a good idea, it is also essential for productivity. Setting limits on time spent on social media can help improve both mood and motivation. Looking up from our cell phones is crucial to connecting with others, and this session will help you put healthy parameters around a very modern workplace problem.”
