Shore Behavioral Health and Recovery for Shore to Participate in Overdose Awareness Day, August 31, at St. Mark's Church in Easton

Both Shore Behavioral Health and Recovery for Shore will be participate in the local observation of International Overdose Awareness Day, set for 6-8 p.m. at St Mark’s UM Church in Easton.

In addition to information about community resources available to individuals and families dealing with addiction and related issues, and education about overdose prevention and treatment, this free event will include music, refreshments, and speakers. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., a special “Remembrance” of loved ones lost to overdose will take place. Family members and friends wishing to participate are encouraged to bring photos, cards or other mementos of lost loved ones that will be included in a Remembrance display.
