As you know, primary care providers are a vital component of maintaining health and wellbeing. They offer diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disease, promote healthy lifestyles, counseling and patient education about disease prevention and health maintenance. Routine visits to your primary care provider can assist you in identifying and controlling health risk factors – such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol – before they become significant health problems.
We understand, too, that our region has struggled with availability of primary care providers in the past, and we are working hard to ensure that you and your families have better access to these types of providers.
Primary Care Providers Accepting New Patients
We are pleased to share that several of our current providers in Chestertown, Denton, and Galena are accepting new patients. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we recently welcomed two new primary care providers to Easton. All of the providers listed below have set aside space for you and/or your covered dependents should you wish to become active patients at these practices.
