Operated by the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary, the Shop features clothing for the entire family, jewelry, fashion accessories, housewares – including linens, dishes and home décor items – gift items, books, toys and games.  All merchandise is donated directly to the Shop from the local community.
During the Birthing Celebration, any customer making a purchase will have the opportunity to register for a chance to win one of three gift certificates to be given away in the amounts of $25, $15 and $10. New items will be placed on the floor throughout the day.
In preparation for the Celebration, the Robin Hood Ship will be closed on Saturday, March 12 and Monday, March 14.  During that time, all remaining winter merchandise will be removed and the Shop will be restocked with new spring items.
The Shop’s normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.  Volunteers are currently being sought for Robin Hood; for information about ways in which to become a volunteer with the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary, call (410) 228-6339. All sales conducted by the Robin Hood Shop are for the benefit of equipment, programs, services and patient care at UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester.
