UM Shore Regional Health leaders and Primary Stroke Center leaders recently visited several departments within UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, including the Emergency Department, Telemetry, the Intensive Care Unit, Radiology, and the Laboratory to thank team members for their hard work providing stroke care to our communities. Team members received ice cream treats to celebrate winning the recent American Heart Association 2024 Get With The Guidelines Stroke GOLD PLUS with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite, Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, and Rural Stroke Silver Awards. These awards highlight hospitals that use the most evidence-based stroke care and treatment guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes in the communities they serve. Congratulations to our UM Shore Regional Health Primary Stroke Center and all teams that provide stroke care to our communities.
