Exciting news at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton!
Beginning early spring, the main lobby, the first floor cafeteria corridor, the hallway leading up to the radiology corridor and the corridor leading to the Emergency Department will undergo aesthetic improvements.
Thank you for your patience, as this involves removal of the current wallpaper and existing handrails. The walls will get a new coat of paint and new handrails. Additionally, the wooden, glass-enclosed bulletin boards across from the cafeteria will be removed and replaced with a digital signage board to offer more opportunities for relaying up-to-date important announcements to our team members.
We would like to offer an opportunity for YOU to add a piece of creativity to complete the corridor upgrades!
Are you or a family member artistic or creative? We are offering our Shore team members from across our service area the opportunity to provide original artwork created by you or your family members to be placed along these updated corridors.
Some guidelines to note:
· Please keep your piece to a standard frameable size: 5×7 in, 8×10 in, 11×14 in, 16×20 in or 20×24 in. We will accept photography, painted works of art or mixed media, as long the artwork can be framed.
· All submissions must be workplace appropriate and free from profanity and offensive subject matter.
· UM SRH’s Patient Experience department will determine the appropriateness of all artwork donated.
· You may request to have your artwork returned to you at any time by contacting the Patient Experience Department.
Please submit your unframed artwork to Kelly Strannahan, Patient Experience Manager, UM SRH, by Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Kelly’s office is located at UM Shore Medical Center Easton on the first floor next to the visitor’s elevator.
