REMINDER! This Wednesday, August 14, is the deadline for nominations of UM SRH certified nursing assistants for the Mid-Shore Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) of the Year Award to be sent to Jennifer Kaminskas, jkaminskas@umm.edu so that she can forward them with payment to Chesapeake College in time to meet the College’s August 16 final deadline.

For each nomination received, a voucher for 4 guests to attend the award presentation will be returned to the facility.
Guidelines
- Nominees must be a Maryland “CNA” or “CNA/GNA” and in good standing on the Maryland
Nursing Assistant Registry. - Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee. The recipient(s) will be chosen based upon criteria on a scale from O to 100 points accumulated from the rating scale and letter of reference.
- IMPORTANT: Save your nomination as a Word or Pdf document and name it with the nominee’s name in the following format: “FirstnameLastname2024.Facilityname”(for example, HelenSmith2024.UMSRH).
- Signatures are required. The Letter of Reference and the Rating Scale sections do not have to be
completed by the same person. Each document may also be signed by more than one person. - Inform your nominee: Please inform your nominee so they can plan accordingly to attend.
