UM Shore Regional Health raised over $90,000 at the annual golf tournament fundraiser at Talbot Country Club last month. These funds will be used to advance breast cancer care and services offered by the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center and the Cancer Program at UM Shore Regional Health.
“The golf tournament proceeds will be a tremendous boost to the much-needed care and services that we offer to the women and men served by the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center,” said Center Director Roberta Lilly, MD. “Advances in breast cancer care are made on a weekly basis, but these advances are not always available to everyone in our community. Our goal is to provide the best possible cancer care, from screening to long-term follow up and support, for patients throughout our five county region and beyond. I know I speak for the entire team at the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center in sharing my profound gratitude for this generous support.”
The Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital at Easton was the lead sponsor of the tournament, with a generous gift of $25,000.
“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our annual golf tournament,” said Rebecca Bair, Vice President of Philanthropy. “Through the years, team members and volunteers have helped make this tournament a success…with their support and that of our loyal community, Shore’s Memorial Hospital Foundation has been able to improve care of our patients by helping to fund equipment and technology upgrades, facility renovations and staff education.”
