Updated Corporate Policy: Vendor Relationships (LD-46)
This policy sets forth parameters for employees of the University of Maryland Medical System Corporation and its affiliated entities, regarding vendor relationships, particularly accepting gifts, entertainment offerings and meals from vendors with which the Medical System has or may have a relationship. Updates to this policy include more specifics regarding the acceptance of gifts from vendors and the exceptions. New components were added regarding physician-owned distributorships (POD) and the use of equipment on a trial basis.
