Walk of Hope for Recovery – Saturday, 4/30, 7-8:30pm, Idlewild Park, Easton. Raise awareness and celebrate recovery for those affected by addiction and mental health issues by joining Recovery for Shore and Mariah’s Mission on a two-mile walk from Idlewild to the Talbot County Courthouse and back. Big Brother, Big Sister: Sibling Preparation – Saturday, 4/30, 9:30-11am, UM SMC at Easton, Health Education Center. Designed for children ages 3-8, includes a tour of the Birthing Center and story time or video.  Register by phone, 410-822-1000 or 410-228-5511, ext. 5200.

8th Annual Prostate Cancer Tournament – Thursday, 5/12, 11am, River Marsh Golf Club at the Hyatt Regency, Cambridge. Participation in the 2016 Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament will provide support, in memory of David Whitby, to help advance healthcare excellence and improve outcomes for prostate cancer patients at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Cancer Center. 2nd Annual NO BULL 5K RUN – Saturday, 5/14, Race day registration and bib pick-up will begin at 9:00 am, NO BULL 5K will start at 10am.  his scenic 5k will take place through the beautiful vineyards at The Triple Creek Winery located in Cordova which is nestled on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Reducing Fall Risk
Stepping On! – Wednesdays, 3/23-5/4, 10am-12pm, Caroline County Senior Center, Denton. Led by UM Shore Regional Health physical therapists Kelly Marchetti and Paula Baker, Stepping On! helps older people build confidence and reduce fall risk.
