University of Maryland Community Medical Group (UM CMG) recently announced the addition of Easton-based internist Carolyn Helmly, MD, FACP. A graduate of the Saint Louis University Medical School, Dr. Helmly practices general internal medicine with a special interest in preventative care, tailoring health care recommendations based on individual needs. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Another addition, Easton-based pediatrician Maria Maguire, MD, MPP, FAAP, joined UM CMG- Pediatrics. Dr. Maguire is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in pediatrics at the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, her clinical interests include general pediatrics, health policy and advocacy, management of allergic diseases (such as asthma, eczema and food allergies) and female adolescent health issues. Joining Dr. Richard Fritz, Dr. Mark Langfitt, Marilyn Gall, CFNP, and Ellen Spurry Christ, CPNP, Dr. Maguire is seeing patients at UM Shore Medical Pavilion at Easton in Suite 210.
