University of Maryland Community Medical Group (UM CMG) recently announced the addition of Easton-based surgeon Dabanjan Bandyopadhyay, DO to its Surgical Care practice.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay’s clinical interests include laparoscopic procedures including: colon resection, laparoscopic gallbladder removal, appendectomy and laparoscopic hernia repair. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency and internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York. Dr. Bandyopadhyay is fluent in English, Bengali and medical Spanish.
He is currently seeing patients at the UM Community Medical Group – Surgical Care practice, located at 500 Cadmus Lane in Easton, Suite 205. Patients may make an appointment with Dr. Bandyopadhyay by calling 410-822-4553.
Another addition to the team is Easton-based internist Andrew Vranic, MD, who is now seeing patients at UM Community Medical Group – Pulmonary Care at 500 Cadmus Lane in Easton, Suite 209. Dr. Vranic’s subspecialties include pulmonary and critical care medicine. His clinical interests include interstitial lung disease, asthma and sarcoidosis.  Dr. Vranic is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine.
