University of Maryland Community Medical Group (UM CMG) announces the addition of Cambridge-based surgeon William E. Bair, MD. He will continue seeing patients in his current office, located at 100 Bramble Street, Suite A, Cambridge, MD 21613. Patients may make an appointment with Dr. Bair by calling 410-228-4616.
UM CMG is a University of Maryland Medical System-owned network of more than 300 primary care physicians, specialists- and advanced practice clinicians. As part of this UM CMG, Dr. Bair is affiliated with UM Shore Regional Health.
The surgical call schedule will remain the same for University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, where he will continue to be on the call schedule and doing surgical procedures. The urgent care center closed on May 1. Residents still have access to the other urgent care resources in the community.
Dr. Bair earned his Medical Degree from University of Virginia, and completed his residency in general and vascular surgery at The Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Bair is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, and ABMS Board Certified in General Surgery.
