Several team members from UM Shore Regional Health and UM Community Medical Group were on hand for Homeports’ 2017 Health & Wellness Expo on October 19 at Kent County High School in Worton, Md. UM SRH was a major sponsor of this annual, free community event that is designed health, wellness and safety information and the many health resources can providers available to Kent County residents.
UM SRH exhibitors included team members from Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation, UM CMG Women’s Health, the Balance Center, Stroke Center, the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center, Infection Control, the UM Center for Diabetes & Endocrinology, UM Chester River Home Care and UM Shore Home Care.
Gabriel Sardi, MD, Duane Cespedes, MD and Mary King, dietitian, were all featured speakers at the event, and members of the Cardio-Pulmonary Department provided free pulmonary function screenings.
