New Website Goes Live

The new UM SRH and University of Maryland Medical System websites launched this past Tuesday, March 13.
For the first time, all UMMS member websites share a unified look and functionality that provides users with a seamless online experience, regardless of how they enter the site. The site navigation and content structure were developed with consumer experience and industry best-practices in mind. (Our current domain name, umshoreregional.org, has not changed
PLEASE NOTE: As we transition to the new site, you may encounter some of the following experiences:

  • Propagation delay: Changing website domains to a new server can take time to reach web users. Some users will be able to see the new website before others.
  • Caching: An old version of the site may be cached (saved) on your browser. It can usually be cleared by clicking Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard, or by clearing your browser cookies.
  • Web browsers: Since the site is built for modern web browsers, it may not display correctly in outdated browsers; some functionality may be affected as well.
  • Search engine indexing: New pages may take up to a month or more to be indexed by search engines to be found in web searches. For frequently asked questions or to learn more, visit org/launch.

We have developed a process for submitting updates or issues you may encounter as you spend time on the new site. If you have any issues or feedback, please fill out the online form at umms.org/update. Our teams will be reviewing and responding to all feedback.
