The Cancer Center team at UM Shore Regional Health recently said farewell to Clinical Research Nurse, Sharon Richter, BSN, RN, CCRC, OCN, who retired after more than a decade in that position. Prior to joining the Cancer Center team, Richter was a member of the nursing department at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton.
“Sharon was a valued member of our team and an asset to the Cancer Program at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health,” comments Brian Leutner, director, Oncology Services. “She was instrumental in our clinical trials program, support groups and in screening programs, such as our annual prostate cancer screening, which benefited countless residents of the five-county region.”
