Service Celebrations are quickly approaching. Employees who have reached a Service Milestone or retired between September 1, 2015 – September 30, 2016 will be honored in this year’s celebrations, as follows:
Retirees and 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 & 50 Year Honorees – Service Celebration Dinner, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. Honorees are each allowed to bring one guest.
10 & 15 Year Honorees – Service Celebration Luncheon, Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Guests are not permitted.
Celebration Venue – The Milestone, 9630 Technology Drive, Easton Maryland 21601, http://www.themilestoneeventcenter.com/
Please also note the following additional information:
- Employees are to be scheduled off during their respective event.
- Luncheon employees are not to return to work after the luncheon. Their time is to be manually adjusted by the department. Their PAL is not to be used.
- Managers will be invited to attend each event in which they have employees being honored. An alternative supervisor may be sent in the manager’s place should they be unable to attend. Managers who do not have an employee being honored at an event are not expected to attend.
- Managers are asked write a short note about their retirees this year. A follow up email will be sent to Managers who have retirees in their department.
- Presenters and speakers are needed – Volunteers are welcome! Please email Paige Martin at paige.martin@umm.edu if you are interested.
- This year’s awards will only include Shore Regional Health employees, i.e., CMG and Corporate employees will NOT be honored in Shore Regional Health’s Service Awards.
- Invitations are expected to arrive at honorees’ homes within the next two weeks. if you have not received yours, email shore.awards@umm.edu.
- Managers will be sent an invitation via email with RSVP information.
