Annual Education
The Annual education window is open in UMMS U. Access your education through HR Connections. (No extra password needed since you are logging in through a secure access point.)
Once on the HR Connections page, look for the UMMS U link in the center of the page. There are demos there to help you navigate, as well as the “My Training” tab to get you started on your journey to complete your required annual education.
The window closes on July 1, 2018. All staff must complete the mandatory education requirements by the deadline! If you have problems or questions, contact Kathy Freund, ext. 5936.
Need help completing your Annual Education Requirement on UMMS U? There are open sessions scheduled at the following locations and times:
- May 21, 7:30 -10:30am – UM SMC at Dorcheste,r 3rd floor Computer Room (6 computers)
- May 22, 7:30 – 10:30am – UM SMC at Easton, 2nd floor Classroom 3 Computer Room (20 computers)
- May 23, 3:00 – 6:00pm – UM SMC at Easton, 2nd floor Classroom 3 Computer Room (20 computers)
- May 25 7:30am – 10:30am – UM SMC at Chestertown, Computer Training Room (6 computers)-

Open Enrollment for Benefits is Happening NOW!
Open Enrollment began on May 1. Everyone needs to participate, even if you think you won’t change your plan! Enrollment continues through May 22, 2018.
This year EVERYBODY must enroll, even if you’re not making any changes to your health, vision, or dental plans. (Flexible spending and HSA requires re-enrollment every year.)
If you don’t enroll, you will have no benefits as of July 1, 2018. Please don’t miss the enrollment window!
