University of Maryland Community Medical Group (UM CMG), announces the addition of Easton-based surgeon Hazem A. Elariny, MD, PhD, FACS. Dr. Elariny’s subspecialties include minimally invasive surgery and gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Elariny obtained a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and earned his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans and a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
“We are very excited to have Dr. Elariny join our team at the University of Maryland Community Medical Group in our Surgical Care practice,” comments Michele Wilson, vice president of operations for UM CMG. “Dr. Elariny is a dedicated surgeon who brings with him a vast amount of experience and knowledge that will benefit our patients on the Shore.”
Dr. Elariny is seeing patients at 500 Cadmus Lane in Easton, Suite 205.
