Foundation and Auxiliary in Chestertown Fund Equipment Purchases

The Chester River Health Foundation and the Chester River Hospital Auxiliary recently funded the purchase of 11 new reclining chairs for inpatient rooms for the comfort of patients.  The Chester River Auxiliary funded the purchase of four new wheelchairs (two large and two regular). The Auxiliary/Volunteers are also funding the purchase of three vital signs monitors at the hospital to improve patient care.

Shown at right, Chestertown volunteers Jane Hulkill, Charles Johnson and Kathy Davis (back row) allow nurses Jen McCracklin and Annette Waltrup, a moment off their feet.  Jen is sitting in one of 11 new recliners that have been funded by the Chester River Health Foundation and the Chester River Hospital Auxiliary.  Annette is trying out one of the new wheelchairs recently funded by the Chester River Hospital Auxiliary.  Scott Burleson, executive director, stands at right.
