Safe Sitter® is a national, non-profit organization that provides programs to teach youth life and safety skills for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Over 175 lives have been saved by Safe Sitter® graduates using their skills. More information about the program may be found at www.safesitter.org.
Please share this information with your friends and neighbors who have age-appropriate kids who might benefit from this valuable class — whether to learn how to safely care for younger siblings or to bolster their credentials as sitters for other families.
Preregistration is required due to limited seating. The registration fee for the Safe Sitter® class is $45 per student, and includes an instruction manual and book bag. Some scholarship funds are available.
