At a recent general membership luncheon and meeting, the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary installed its 2017 officers. The installing officer was Ida Jane Baker, immediate past president of the Auxiliary.
Serving as elected officers in 2017 are Diane McCarthy, president; Alexandra Anderson-Snell, 1st vice president; Joy Loeffler, 2nd vice president; Francesca Rendell, recording secretary; Catherine Gullion, treasurer; Karol Redline, membership dues secretary; Nancy Duvall, financial dues secretary; and Nancy Linder, corresponding secretary. Members at large include Rosalie Dolan, Barbara Weiss and Pat Wood, and the nominating committee consists of Diane McCarthy, chairman; Alexandra Anderson-Snell and Barbara Lipe.
In addition to their volunteer efforts at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, the Auxiliary generates income for programs, services, equipment and patient care at the medical center through the Hospitality Shop and the Robin Hood Shop in Cambridge.
