ChoiceOne Urgent Care, headquartered in Lutherville, Maryland and a partner of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, has become the first urgent care organization in Georgia and only the second in Maryland to achieve Accreditation by the Urgent Care Association of America, the highest level of distinction for its growing chain of urgent care centers.
ChoiceOne operates seven urgent care centers in two states, with additional centers scheduled to open throughout the next 12 months. Every ChoiceOne Urgent Care center is a partner with an accredited hospital system in the states they operate, including University of Maryland Medical System hospitals across Maryland, and Gwinnett Medical Center in Georgia.

The UCAOA Accreditation means a facility demonstrates that it has met nationally standardized criteria to provide high-level care and achieved excellence in the areas of governance; human resources; patient care processes; physical environment; quality improvement; health record management; patient privacy/rights/responsibilities; and scope of care. The UCAOA represents the largest membership of urgent care centers and the multi-disciplinary individuals working with and for the urgent care industry in the United States.
Locally, as a partner of UM Shore Regional Health, ChoiceOne Urgent Care operates a center in Denton. All ChoiceOne centers offer soothing, spa-like environments, welcoming staff, compassionate professionals, personal follow-up, specialty appointment assistance and referrals or updates to primary care physicians. Services include all types of urgent care needs, including x-rays, EKGs, labs and prescriptions. A new ChoiceOne Urgent Care center is coming to Easton in September 2016.
