Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital at Easton has presented a $25,000 contribution to the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health Golf Tournament scheduled September 21. The contribution represent the Auxiliary’s sponsorship of the event, which is raising money for equipment purchases for the operating room at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton.
“The technology that supports our skilled surgeons is constantly improving,” says Penny Pink, director of Surgical and Ambulatory Services for UM Shore Regional Health. “Funds raised from this year’s Golf Invitational will be used to purchase the latest generation equipment that will keep UM Shore Regional Health at the forefront of health care. My thanks go to the Foundation for supporting us and of course to the Auxiliary for this generous contribution.”

The annual Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, September 21 at Talbot Country Club, 6142 Country Club Drive, Easton. The tournament will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a single shotgun start. All golfers will receive a deluxe gift package. Beverages, lunch and snacks will be served on the golf course during the tournament with a reception and awards presentation following play. Team registration is $1,500.
