UM Shore Regional Health celebrated Cardiovascular Professionals Week February 12-18. Each year, during its observance, Cardiovascular Professionals Week honors the work performed by cardiovascular practitioners and managers and their contribution to health care.
The Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services Department of UM Shore Regional Health will held a number of in-house events Monday, February 13 through Friday, February 17 for its team. On February 17, the department hosted a Lunch and Learn featuring presenter, Jeffrey Etherton, MD, FACC, of UM Community Medical Group – Cardiology, who discussed cardiovascular advancements, close to home, including PCI, which is anticipated to be offered at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton in the near future.
