Nancy Bedell, formerly director, Case Management for UM Shore Regional Health, has been named director of Population Health, effective January 6, 2019. Bedell brings more than 20 years of population health and care transitions management to the position.
Bedell joined UM SRH in 2015 as director, Employee Health and Wellness in 2015, and subsequently became director, Care Coordination. She previously served as executive director of Clinical Integration at Newark University Hospital, where she was responsible for case management, social work, patient flow and patient experience, and developing transition programs to reduce readmissions and support population health.
