Base Pay Increases Go Into Effect in January, 2018


Eligible team members will receive up to 2% increase in base pay, effective January 7, 2018, which is the first full pay period of 2018, Ken Kozel, president and CEO, announced this week,  Increases will appear in the January 26, 2018, paycheck.
“Even though we had significant budget challenges when planning for this new fiscal year, it is important that we take care of our team who takes care of our patients, their families and the communities we serve,” commented Kozel. “I believe in the Shore Regional Health team and in the personal dedication and professional expertise that you bring to work with you each day, and I am very glad that we are able to provide pay raises beginning in 2018.”
Increases less than 2% will be based on amounts received as market adjustments, but these instances are few.
Team members who have completed their Initial Introductory Review Period are eligible. A few exclusions apply, as follows:

  • Team members who have been promoted beginning July 1, 2017, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Team members who are serving an Initial Introductory Review Period are excluded.
  • Team members receiving a market adjustment between February 19, 2017 – December 31, 2017, are excluded, as indicated in letters sent to them regarding their market adjustment.
