UM Shore Regional Health congratulates two “HEART Team Members of the Month” for September, 2018: Alison Benko, bedside nurse in the Emergency Department at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton and Deborah Pippin, supervisor, Pharmacy Services, UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.
Benko was described by a patient as “attentive, knowledgeable and empathetic –she went above and beyond to provide exceptional care.” Pippin was recognized for her “tireless work in initiating an insulin pilot program and for her extra efforts in ensuring that patients receive excellent care during the time that the hazardous drug room in Easton was closed for repairs.”
As part of UM Shore Regional Health’s Celebrate with Heart recognition program, the Team Member of the Month honor promotes UM SRH values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.
NOTE: All Team Member of the Month honorees receive 12,500 points in the UM SRH HEART Recognition and Rewards Program.
