I write to express my appreciation for the excellent care my wife received during her recent surgery and hospitalization at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton. Every person we encountered during her five week stay treated her with utmost courtesy, respect and professionalism … our thanks and appreciation to everyone involved, from the skilled hands of her surgeon, Dr. Bandy, and the operating room staff, the skilled nurses and their assistants, to the meal providers the cleaning personnel and maintenance staff. All very compassionate and professional in their care … how fortunate our community is to have such a fine hospital.

Great experience in the ED at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. I didn’t have to wait at all. I explained my problem and was taken care of right away. The young lady at the receptionist desk was very kind and professional. She listened to my problem and went for a nurse right away. Once in the ER the tech was very helpful and listened to what I had to say and made me feel very comfortable. Made sure my family member was comfortable. Nurse kept him informed of what was going to be happening. I was also pleased with the ER doctor. He was very knowledgeable and assured me that I was going to be OK. I felt that I was in good hands. The doctor also explained what was happening as it was being done.
