In the Emergency Department at UM SMC at Chestertown, my husband was with me the entire time and the friendliness of the PA and the nurses certainly made the experience less traumatic than it might have been. The attention and care of the nurses was great. They listened, explained, and also helped to comfort my husband who was perhaps more concerned than I was.

At the lab in Easton, my physician had not put correct diagnosis codes on my lab order but the lab registrar, Theresa, called his office and asked for new orders w/correct diagnosis codes…well done! And Keaton was an excellent phlebotomist.

The staff in the lab at Chestertown were very personable and professional. During my test, she was able to read my body language of being nervous and talked with me to make it a more pleasant experience.

At UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown, my nurses Lisa & Anne were excellent – competent & compassionate & even the manager, Mary Alice checked in on me! Dr. Maniago has a fantastic bedside manner! It was the BEST experience – I am very grateful to have this ER in the community!
