The following reports from patients and family members reaffirm our staff’s commitment
to putting our patients’ needs first. Please take a minute to say THANKS!

My physical therapist, Cordia Reilly, has been excellent — thorough, professional, knowledgeable, I have had her for two spinal surgeries, a hip replacement and shoulder surgery. My current physical therapy is to recover from back surgery – the hardest so far — but with Cordia’s help we will improve as we have before!

I was a patient in UM Shore Medical Center at Easton in early December.  I was there to have my gallbladder removed and I had never had surgery before.  Furthermore, I really don’t do medical matters well.  I was immediately comforted when I encountered Ashlie and Kelly, who got me started.  They were very caring and patient with me.  Just before surgery, I was encountered by Heather, who made me feel very comfortable.  Of course I didn’t get to talk with Heather for long before I was “out.”  When I woke, I was being cared for by Brittany, who was on par with the others.  She took very good care of me and was patient with me while I took a while to collect myself prior to discharge.  I believe Erica was helping out as well (my memory is a little foggy).
You have an absolutely wonderful team of nurses that you can be quite proud of and I thought you could use an encouraging note.

I gave birth to my daughter [in the Birthing Center, UM Shore Medical Center at Easton] on Monday, November 21. The nurses were so good to me, they treated me so well…they managed my pain and made my family and myself very comfortable. There was a nurse there, Micah, that made everything okay for me — she was so nice, she made sure I was okay, constantly checking on me and the baby, she even sat by my bed when the pain was too much for me to bear! I’ll never forget her and her love for my family, my baby and myself. Then there was Amy, she was so GREAT, she was so down to earth, she constantly checked in on me and made sure I was okay.
When I was discharged but my baby was not because of jaundice, I got really emotional. The nurse named Dawn who was on that night was so understanding, staying in the room with me until she knew I was okay, making jokes to make sure I was laughing, asking if I needed anything. Then there was Pam who was there on our last stay and I absolutely loved her. She is so sweet, she offered so much help and when she knew I was ready to go she got my discharge papers together as soon as she could. The charge nurse Sharon was very good to me as well, the surgical tech Lacy was excellent as well. All the nurses were good to me during my stay! I’m very appreciative and I will forever remember them!
